​The raw materials, processing and steaming

The manufacturing of a L’Pure cigar begins with the purchase of the tobacco from one of the largest and most reputable suppliers in the Dominican Republic, Mr. Leo Reyes from Tabacalera Flor de los Reyes. This provides us with the consistency of raw materials necessary to achieve our premium quality cigars.

After three years of processing the tobacco, the steaming process begins. This process introduces the right amount of moisture to the wrappers so the manufacturing process can start.

​Once the steaming process is complete, we begin to sort the leaves by color and quality. Only the best quality leaves are selected for the wrapper. The remaining leaves are use as binder and filler while the selected premium leaves move on to quality control to ensure only the best of the best are selected for the final process of manufacturing.

The Binder and Filler
Once the best leaves have been selected for the wrapper, we begin the process of sorting through the remaining leaves to be used for the binding and filler. During this process, only quality, not color, is considered for the selection of the best leaves. The entire process of selection is monitored by an experience quality control supervisor.

The final manufacturing step is closely monitored by our master blender who with 20 years of experience supervised the manufacturing of every cigar to ensure the best quality possible.
